Just Quoting the Quotes

Sat, April 14, 2007 at 09:45AM
Most of the time we find ourselves stuck with thoughts that cannot find their way out to be expressed. That's not "most of the time" for me... it's "all of the time"!! So then I rely on quotations from philosophers and people whose principles and experiences define (or somehow) lay forth that which are in my mind.

Give me not your two cents... give me ten. Mould these quotations into one serious thought and let me know what I AM thinking ~fromYESTERDAYsAttityood

"If the other person injures you, you may forget the injury; but if you injure HER you will always remember." - Kahlil Gibran

"Nothing happens by itself... it all will come your way, once you understand that you have to make it come your way, by your own exertions." - Ben Stein

"When a man has not a good reason for doing a thing, he has one good reason for letting it alone." - Thomas Scott

"This is our purpose: To make as meaningful as possible this life that has been bestowed upon us; To live in such a way that we may be proud of ourselves; To act in such a way that some part of us lives on." - Oswald Spengler

"Forgiveness is the healing of wounds caused by another. You choose to let go of a past wrong and no longer be hurt by it. Forgiveness is a strong move to make, like turning your shoulders sideways to walk quickly on a crowded sidewalk. It's your move." - Real Live Preacher

"Each time you are honest and conduct yourself with honesty, a success force will drive you toward greater success. Each time you lie, even with a little white lie, there are strong forces pushing you toward failure." - Joseph Sugarman
