They come and go -- our demons -- just as hurricanes, earthquakes, and tornadoes come and go. They linger a bit, then they go away. They may do a little or a great deal of damage, but that doesn't mean I will allow them to overuse their welcome.
And while I entertain these demons, I may look like one... or act like one, but that doesn't mean too that I am one! Many a time I would lock the door and not let one demon in, but you know how sneaky they are! They are all over and they never sleep either.
So what do you do when these demons are consuming my mind? Would you condemn until I've exorcised them off my system or just watch in resignation? I think you'd do both. Because you don't understand. You never will.
