A lie is nothing but an intent to deceive. Its purpose is to deliberately cover up a truth for whatever reason it may serve. Whether it is aimed to alleviate an intense situation as in a means to justify an end, there is no justification for its use. A lie is still a lie.
When we lie, we weave a web because we create another lie on top of a lie. And this web gets entangled until there is no way out.
