A relationship is like a plant...starts as a seed. You watch it grow. You nurture it - water it, feed it. You protect it from the storm and do all you can to keep it alive. All season long, you care for it as your dear life.
But once you ignore it ...abandon it... leave it to thrive on its own, chances are, it will give up its life. The leaves will wither, the roots will dry up from lack of attention. Before you know it, it's gone. Dead.
